Ten Mile Creek in western Pa was tested by the DEP and it contained the radioactive chemicals radium 226, radium 228, thorium and uranium from fracking. Nuclear online sites also list oil drilling and fracking as number one sources of radioactive waterways. That's why Cheney changed our water protection laws. The Pa doctors have been gagged ordered so people are being blatantly poisoned and they can't even trust their doctors to help them. Link to You Tube video about Ten Mile Creek. ruclips.net/video/QuArol6JqYo/видео.html

It is completely about greed. The gas companies have cheated, harassed and poisoned the citizens of Pa. They pushed farmers into low lease agreements just so they could sell out percentages of those leases to other investors and companies like CNOOC from China and Statoil from Norway. Then companies like Chesapeake are allowed to cheat landowners further by creating made up royalty fees. Companies like Chesapeake make more money from flipping leases than actually drilling. Then where does all the money go? Chesapeake is on the verge of bankruptcy for the third time. Cheating their stock investors. While they said it was about gas for the US, they are selling it to other countries. Another way companies like Chesapeake cheat royalty owners is to sell the gas at a lower price to a company related to Chesapeake. Then sell it higher after paying out lower royalty amounts. People that live within drilling areas are developing neurological problems. There have been high amounts of aquatic deaths in local ponds. Then the DEP hides the negative water test results and the neurological problems are from the flare offs and air pollution. Right now 10 mile creek in western Pa is radioactive because they use thorium, uranium and radium 226 and radium 228 in drilling. That's why Cheney changed the water protection laws and the Democrats did nothing to change it. This pipeline will allow strangers to trespass on this specific property for many years to come while maintaining the cutting of trees. It also creates a danger from possible explosions. All so the rich can get richer. You don't ever own the land. You just use it until the business people in government find a way to exploit it.

The pipeline companies have the American government and the public by the balls. There is no regulation of pipelines, it is a myth. The landmen who bully people into signing contracts are evil people. I don't know how they can look their children and wives in the eyes. While this guy in the video seems to want to be cautionary, it is clear he wants to keep his options and still be hired by these predatory pipeline companies.

Excellent video. Now, if the legislators, lawmakers, and apathetic residents would only watch this and become more educated perhaps these pipelines could be installed more safely. But as Mr. Kuprewicz states, PA is lax in their laws yet has a history of being a coal mining region. Duh.

The 2017 deadline for the Chesapeake Bay TMDL reduction to 60% is closing with a view of not acheiving the reductions needed for Total Nitrogen and Total Suspended Solids They are way too late. MS4's and sewer discharge permits are going to get more stringent under EPA review. Look at the 29 December 2009 letter for what the EPA can do to insure compliance.

Really?? Who screwed this up? Was it someone purposefully dumping oil from their car or mower... was it from home heating oil filling gone bad? Is anything being done to contain this? This poor canal has gone through enough with all the damage from the past floods! This oil is going to make it's way into the Delaware River before killing fish and frogs and aquatics in the canal itself. Shame on whoever caused this.

One issue you may want to look at is how the amount of the impact fee collected dropped while production of gas doubled. A few of us elected officials did figure out how a company could control production to lessen the fee amount per well.
